    What is Fleet Emissions?

    Carbon emissions from an organisation's vehicle fleet, including cars, vans, and trucks. Fleet emissions are typically Scope 1 for owned vehicles and can be reduced through electrification and route optimisation.

    Why it matters

    Fleet emissions are among the most visible and controllable Scope 1 sources. The UK government's zero-emission vehicle mandate and expanding clean air zones create both regulatory and financial incentives for fleet electrification.

    A facilities management company with 40 diesel vans electrifies 15 of them and installs workplace charging. Fleet emissions drop by 38%, and fuel costs fall by £52,000 per year. The remaining 25 vans are scheduled for replacement over two years.
