Connecting your accounting app allows EcoHedge Express to quickly evaluate and assign emissions to your purchases of goods and services. These fall into Scope 3, Category 1, of your carbon report.

We automatically exclude payroll and salary information and store non-payroll expense information securely in our database.

Your data is never shared with 3rd parties.

You can disconnect at anytime, just visit your account settings page.

After selecting your appropriate accounting application in the Codat menu:

1. You will be redirected to a 3rd third-party website - for example, Xero.
2. You will be asked to enter your account credentials to authenticate and authorise data access to your accounting software.
3. Once you have done so you will be redirected to EcoHedge to complete onboarding.

Using the ‘Data Refresh’ button on the dashboard, you are able to refresh your data as often as you would like. We refresh data by default on a daily basis.
